sl1p with yarn in back, k9. Mark as beginning

of round.

With first needle, k10, pick up and knit one

stitch in each selvedge stitch along side of heel

flap, and one more stitch between heel flap

and leg.

With second needle, work foot Round 1 over

31 stitches.

With third needle, pick up and knit one stitch

between leg and heel flap and one stitch in each

selvedge stitch along side of heel flap, and knit

to end of round.

Round 1:

k to 2 sts before end of first needle,

k2 together. Continue foot pattern on

second needle. On third needle, ssk,

k to end of round. 2 sts decreased.

Round 2:

k all sts on first needle, continue

foot pattern on second needle, k all stitches

on third needle.

Repeat Rounds 1 and 2 until a total of 63

stitches rem.

and foot pattern on instep needle, until foot is

about 2 inches short of desired length, ending
