In addition to competition, the national show is an excellent chance to catch up
with old friends, to mix and mingle, and to meet new breeders. It’s a time to see
what other farms, ranches, and the industry are up to.
It’s also a great time to buy top-tier alpacas. The annual AOBA auction always
showcases some of the industry’s best huacayas and suris. It’s the only time when
these great alpacas are gathered in one place. See the animals beforehand, talk to
the breeders, then bid at this exciting event.
