ARF is funded entirely by donations from alpaca
owners and breeders. As a result, ARF is facing serious
fiscal trouble. We all know that the economic down-
turn a few years ago ravaged not only our personal
bank accounts, but the bank accounts of donor-driven
organizations. In order for ARF to continue to fund
the important research that it does, YOUR donations
are more important than ever. Solid, scientifically
designed research is expensive! Should ARF fail to
raise sufficient funds soon, several important projects
will go unfunded.
Your help is very much needed at this time. Dona-
tions are more important than ever and always accepted
through the website,
www.alpacaresearchfoundation.org, or by sending a check to ARF’s treasurer, Patrick
Long. Any amount that can be offered is more than
graciously accepted and needed, not to mention,
put to good use! Can you afford to donate just $1.00
for each alpaca you own? How about $5.00, $10.00
or even $20.00? Would you be willing to set up a
recurring donation of $5 or $10 per month. Can
you afford not to?
