Champion Alpacas to Compete in Harrisburg this Weekend

Harrisburg, PA — Alpaca Show Management Services, Empire Alpaca Association, and Pennsylvania Alpaca Owners and Breeders Association are excited to announce the Eastern Alpaca Jamboree coming to the PA Farm Show Complex, Northwest Hall, April 4 – 6.

The show is a combination of the North American Alpaca Show, Empire Alpaca Association Spring Show, and PAOBA Breeders Showcase and will feature more than 350 alpacas brought by 93 farms representing 15 states.

Alpacas will be featured in the show ring competition, consisting of classes judging conformation and fleece quality in many categories for both Suri and Huacaya alpacas.

Vendors and farm displays will sell the latest alpaca fashions and hand-crafted items including clothing, home goods made from alpaca fiber, alpaca themed clothing, alpaca art, alpaca tack products, plush animals and more.

Show hours are:

Friday, April 4 — 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Saturday, April 5 — 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Sunday, April 6 — 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Admission is free.
