Award Winning Alpacas to Compete in McMinnville

More than 400 Alpacas are coming to the Yamhill County Fairgrounds to compete in the CABA Classic and Alpaca Western Extravaganza Dual Show

McMinnville, Oregon — The Columbia Alpaca Breeders Association (CABA) is excited to announce the 2025 CABA Classic and Alpaca Western Extravaganza Halter and Walking Fleece Shows coming to the Yamhill County Fairgrounds April 25–27.

More than 400 alpacas will be at the dual show featured in the show ring competition. The competition consists of classes judging conformation and fleece quality in many categories for both Suri and Huacaya alpacas.

The public is invited to come meet some of the country’s best breeders, see alpacas up close and personal and learn what it takes to be a champion alpaca.

Throughout the weekend, a variety of vendors will sell the latest alpaca fashions and hand-crafted items and more at the show. Be sure not to miss this unique shopping opportunity!

Hours are:

Friday, April 25 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Saturday, April 26 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Sunday, April 27 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Admission is free.

CABA is a non-profit organization of alpaca breeders dedicated to supporting its members and to promoting public awareness of alpacas and their luxurious natural fiber.
